The course covers a broad range of Biosciences (human physiology and disease, animal and plant biology and research skills) at a variety of scales (from atoms to ecosystems). A key feature is the interrelationship of the bioscience topics and the delivery by staff with industry and research experience. Relevant practical, mathematical and IT skills are utilised and developed throughout the course which are transferable to many other disciplines outside of science.
BSc (HONS) Bioscience Top-up Year (1 year)
The top up year gives the opportunity to extend the Bioscience FdSC into a fully recognised honours degree.
