We are saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and our thoughts are with her family. We pay tribute to a life dedicated to the service of her country and join people from around the world in mourning her death.

Having received further guidance from the Department for Education we are able to share the arrangements the College will follow during the National Mourning period.

The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will take place at 11am on Monday 19 September at Westminster Abbey. It has also been announced that the day of the funeral will be a bank holiday. Therefore, Harlow College and Stansted Airport College will be closed on Monday 19 September. The College will continue to remain open throughout the National Mourning period other than on this date.
