UCAS Information – IT

Students have been disadvantaged by not having access to the college facilities and face to face delivery during the lockdown. The specialist software and hardware that is needed for many of units taught could be run thought the iPads the college provided each student. Once re received the government laptops in Feb/March 2021 students were issued with these, but this only helped for the final term. Some students also experienced access to poor internet connections and limited IT resources at home. However, communication with our students was good and attendance online and eventually face to face remained high despite these challenges, we were particularly delighted by the fact that enthusiasm never waned.
