Earn while you learn
You'll get the appropriate Apprenticeship Minimum Wage for your age. Your employer may choose to pay you more.
A real job
You'll work for at least 30 hours a week. There are Apprenticeships at Intermediate, Advanced and Higher (degree) level, covering many different industries and job roles ranging from social media to engineering.
A real qualification
You'll get a high quality nationally recognised qualification, respected by employers around the world.
A real future
After finishing your Apprenticeship, it's very likely you'll continue in employment. Two-thirds of apprentices stay with the same employer. A third of all apprentices get promotion within a year of finishing. Of those in work, three quarters of apprentices take on more responsibility in their job. Employers think that qualified apprentices are more employable than those with other qualifications.
You must be over 16 years old and not in full-time education to be an apprentice.
