If you're looking for a change of direction and want to develop new skills, Harlow College has launched a range of FREE courses for adults as part of the new government backed Lifetime Skills Guarantee.

In May 2021 courses in Accountancy, Early Years Education, IT and Leadership begin. The scheme will be expanded to include Electrical Installation, Plumbing and Health & Care from September. 

The courses are for adults aged 19 and over who are looking to achieve their first full level 3 qualifications (equivalent to 3 A-Levels). The Lifetime Skills Guarantee is a new initiative designed to help adults to train and gain the valuable skills they need to improve their job and career prospects, effectively future proofing their careers.

The Guarantee aims to transform the skills system so everyone, no matter where they live or their background, can gain the skills they need to progress in work at any stage of their lives. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected many areas of the jobs market and these courses are also a perfect way for adults to retrain for a new career they never thought possible.

Eligible adults will be those aged 19 or older who do not currently hold a Level 3 qualification.
