Stansted Airport College – the first purpose built further education college at a UK airport – has marked the start of the new school year by unveiling ambitious plans for the future of the facility.

The sixth annual Harlow College Media Oscars were held for the first time at the Cineworld in the Harvey Centre on 11 July, where students from media and animation were celebrated and awarded for their stunning creative projects.

Wool4School is pleased to announce Harlow College student Elise Bailey as the inaugural Wool4School UK winner for 2019. 

Frankie Griffiths,16 and Alex Ketteridge, 17, both former Harlow College Engineering students, have been making great names for themselves, after being snapped up by prestigious engineering company Smiths (Harlow) Ltd, only 8 weeks into a 12 week industry placement – something that has never happened before.

Harlow College Sixth Form students have yet again recorded a fantastic set of A Level results, securing an impressive 99% pass rate for the second year running.

The latest crop of budding Jamie Olivers to graduate from Harlow College’s Young Chef’s Academy held their celebratory dinner at Down Hall, Hatfield Heath, on Wednesday 12 June 2019. 

Leading building products manufacturer Forterra has announced Harlow College as one of six further education colleges in the UK to become London Brick Construction Hubs.
