About the course
This qualification is designed for learners who want to gain an understanding of entrepreneurship and develop key entrepreneurial skills. These skills will not only be beneficial for those looking to start and manage their own business but will also be valuable in any professional setting.
The qualification consists of two mandatory units:
- Exploring Entrepreneurship – This unit focuses on the essential skills and behaviours needed to become an entrepreneur. Learners will have the chance to evaluate their own potential for entrepreneurship.
- Exploring and Presenting Enterprise Ideas – A hands-on unit where learners generate and discuss enterprise ideas. They will assess the strengths and challenges of these ideas before selecting one to present to a chosen audience.
Entry requirements
Learners must be unemployed and in receipt of benefit or earning under £25,000 per annum
Must have a National Insurance number
Must have been a UK resident for the last 3 years or proof of right to education

Free if you are unemployed and receiving benefit or earning under £25,000 per annum

Assessed through activities in class and continuous feedback given. Evidenced through completion of project workbook, written assignment and practical observation.
