About the course
This course is designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to secure employment in a hospital setting and succeed in the healthcare sector.
Course Highlights and Qualifications:
- Level 1 Mental Health Awareness: Gain up-to-date, relevant knowledge about mental health and its impacts, preparing you to work sensitively with those affected. Topics include mental health fundamentals and support strategies.
- Level 1 Infection Prevention and Control: Learn essential practices for hospital environments covering topics such as PPE use, proper handwashing techniques and infection prevention.
- COSHH Awareness Certificate: Complete an online certificate on the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), an excellent addition to your CV.
Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are required but learners will be required to undertake initial assessments in English and maths to help determine their suitability for the course.
Learners must be unemployed and in receipt of benefit or earning under £25,000 per annum
Must have a National Insurance number
Must have been a UK resident for the last 3 years or proof of right to education
