    This course offers students with an interest in science to study three different science qualifications which ensures learners have a broad yet exciting science curriculum which can lead to a wide range of higher education courses.

    Each qualification is equivalent to 1 A level which means this course is equivalent to 3 A levels.

    Pearson Level 3 Alternative Academic Qualification BTEC National in Applied Science (Extended Certificate)

    Pearson Level 3 Alternative Academic Qualification BTEC National in Medical Science (Extended Certificate)

    AQA A level Environmental Science

    Entry requirements

    5 GCSE’s grade 5 and above

    Including:

    5 in English

    5 in maths

    5 in separate sciences or 5-5 in combined science.

    The Science department has courses from level 1 to level 3 and also laboratory technician apprentices. The majority of our science learners study go on to study at University all over the UK.
